TCG Planning was the lead consultant in the landuse planning and urban design process, for the redevelopment of a 400Ha former coal mine site along the foothills and upper reaches of the Illawarra escarpment. The draft masterplan envisages the development of an eco-tourism centre, education campus and recreation precinct which included a Greg Norman designed international golf course, residential areas and significant open space and environmental protection areas.

Port Stephens Economic Development Strategy – North Coast NSW

In conjunction with Buchan Consulting Group, TCG Planning developed a long-term economic development strategy for the Port Stephens Local Government Area.
The development of the strategy involved:
- a detailed analysis and review of the regional economy, its performance and outlook;
- a review of its key sectors;
- an assessment of the future challenges for the region; and
- investigation into growth opportunities. |

Picton Tahmoor Thirlmere New Urban Lands – South Western Sydney

TCG Planning worked collaboratively with Wollondilly Shire Council to investigate the infrastructure requirements associated with the release of new urban lands in Picton, Tahmoor, and Thirlmere all located within the Wollondilly Shire. TCG Planning provided a strategy for the staging of the rezoning and release of such lands, together with recommendations for funding of future infrastructure requirements.
